Travelling to Bodrum for implant treatment
Bodrum is easy to reach from much of Europe and beyond. A little planning makes the treatment days calmer.

Getting there
Bodrum is served by Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV), roughly a half-hour to forty-five-minute drive from town depending on traffic and where you stay. In summer there are many direct flights from European cities; in winter, connections often go via Istanbul. Check visa and passport requirements for your nationality well in advance.
Getting around
Taxis, transfers and shared minibuses connect the bays of the peninsula. If your accommodation is far from the clinic, ask about the travel time – after surgery you will want a short ride.
Where to stay
Choose quiet accommodation close to the clinic, ideally with a fridge for soft food and cool packs. Around surgery days a calm room matters more than a lively beach.
When to travel
Spring and autumn are popular because the weather is mild and the town is less crowded. Summer is hot and busy; winter is quiet, and some hotels close. Treatment is possible all year.
Planning around appointments
- Book flexible tickets if you can – plans can change after the examination.
- Leave a buffer of a few days after surgery before flying, especially after a sinus lift.
- Bring your medication list, X-rays and any medical reports.
- Check that your travel insurance covers planned treatment and complications.
